We have now moved on to the the Krishna Avatar. We have discussed up until the birth of Krishna.

Reference materials will be posted on the Reference section.

We discussed R-Day display that was alloted for our class -Our class's display will be on " Orissa". The kids teamed up with kids close to their place (or friends) and decided on the category. Attached is the list of kids and the categories. The kids who were not present in the class are marked in red and have been assigned a category. The kids are to work with thier partners and share their research in the Jan 8th class. They will need to collect pictures, artifiacts where possible and do a brief write up. We will have a parents meeting in the class on Jan 8th at 12.00 p.m to discuss the display All parents are requested to attend the meeting. The kids are very enthusiastic about this project and want their class to have the best display and are banking on us to help them acheive their goal. Meanwhile, please scout around for any orissa related items that you or your contacts can share.

In a final note --We had four wonderful diorama presentations on the Das Avatar. Great job to all the four kids who presented...
